Causeartist is a nonprofit content platform and directory dedicated to the founders, funders, and organizations building a more sustainable and regenerative world. Founded in 2013, we've spent over a decade covering the global social entrepreneurship and impact investing ecosystem.
Our story
When we think of artists, we often picture painters, writers, musicians, or dancers — creators who translate a vision into something tangible that endures. Yet there's another kind of artist that rarely gets that recognition: founders.
Like any great artist, founders possess a unique creative vision. They conceive and build the companies, tools, and brands that shape our daily lives. They pour years — sometimes lifetimes — into bringing an idea to life, transforming abstract conviction into something real that changes the world around them.

Our platform celebrates the visionary creators building purposefully — on the canvas of the economy, leaving an indelible mark on society and paving the way for a brighter future. Since 2013, we've conducted over 800 interviews with social entrepreneurs, impact investors, and leaders from more than 150 countries.
What we're building
Causeartist 3.0 is our most significant evolution yet. We're building the Crunchbase of the impact economy — a curated, comprehensive directory of impact-driven companies, social enterprises, and funders that makes it easier for investors to find opportunities, founders to find peers, researchers to find data, and consumers to find brands they can trust.

Grant founded Causeartist in 2013 with a specific vision: to spotlight founders and leaders creating companies that lead to a more sustainable and regenerative business future. He curates the weekly Causeartist newsletter and hosts two podcasts — Disruptors for GOOD and Investing in Impact. He believes that by showcasing the innovations emerging in the impact economy, we can catalyze a global movement toward a smarter, more conscious way of doing business.
