Despite the environmental and economic benefits of recycling, U.S. recycling rates have plateaued in recent years. AMP Robotics is taking a bold step to change that narrative.
With the newly acquired funding, AMP plans to expedite the rollout of its AMP ONE™ systems, a state-of-the-art solution designed to cost-effectively sort municipal solid waste (MSW).
AMP ONE is already proving its potential through operational success at its Portsmouth, Virginia facility, and an ongoing partnership with Waste Connections, which recently enlisted AMP to equip and operate a single-stream recycling facility in Colorado.
This advanced system enables facilities to capture billions of dollars in recyclable material value that would otherwise be lost to landfills or incineration.
Founder Matanya Horowitz emphasized the critical role AMP’s solutions play in revolutionizing waste management, stating:

In conjunction with its Series D funding, AMP is strengthening its leadership team. Tim Stuart, former COO of Republic Services Inc., now serves as AMP’s CEO, while founder Matanya Horowitz has transitioned to the role of Chief Technology Officer.
Together, they aim to chart a new path for waste management, focusing on sustainable materials recovery and resource efficiency.
