Bregal Sphere is a climate and nature focused investment platform that aims to invest in companies and projects that create positive societal and environmental impact while generating attractive risk-adjusted returns for investors. As part of Bregal Investments, which has invested more than €19 billion to date, the platform was founded in 2023 with a focus on natural capital investments.
The platform's first strategy, Bregal Sphere Nature, was launched in 2024 and is established to invest in the natural capital sector through long-term partnerships and project finance. They partner with best-in-class project developers with a track record of restoring ecosystems and capturing carbon at scale, and have formed a strategic partnership with Conservation International as an Impact Advisor to accelerate achievement of impact and elevate the ambition of their impact strategy.
